Inventech Marine Solutions (IMS) was founded with the goal of becoming the forward most thinking company in the marine industry. Our culture builds on the ideas of looking forward to better all aspects of marine used products. We believe in designing, testing, and perfecting new technologies that focus on safety, usability, and versatility to all users. These technologies are made available through our two brands FAST and Life Proof Boats.
Life Proof Boats are built for anything life can throw at you. Our boats incorporate the newest technologies that we here at IMS have developed and have or in the process of acquiring patents on. Choosing from our base models and available variants, any boater can be matched with a Life Proof Boat that suits their needs. From our 40FT RIB, to our 18FT Runabout you will find a boat that offers unmatched quality and safety. All of our boats are built with buoyancy collars for stability & redundant flotation, self-bailing decks, shock mitigated technologies, commercial built construction, and commercial grade materials. These characteristics make our boats stand out from the competition. Our boats can handle whatever life can throw at you.
As an adjective the word Proof is defined as "able to withstand something damaging; resistant." The definition of the word Life as a noun is "living things and their activities." So together our brand name represents that in the activities of living, that you do relative to boating, our boats are able to withstand something that would damage most and are resistant to sinking. We want to provide the recreational boater with the safest platform we can. A boat that is virtually unsinkable. Under the decks of our boats you will find foam filling every available void. Our boats also have foam collars that typically run the length of the boat. In the smaller platforms there is enough foam in the boat to float more than twice the weight of the boat. We use the same technologies the USCG has found to be superior and often a required standard in many of their platforms. We only use polyethylene foam because of its superior characteristics. It is closed cell and stays closed cell even if cut, ripped, or smashed. Two part polyurethane foam which are industry standard, only can be considered closed cell for a short time frame and often begin to hold water over time as water finds it way below the decks. As fiberglass boats are stressed overtime they begin to crack and small amount of water weep through areas which are meant to be watertight. Overall the goal of our brand is to provide the safest platform on the market while making sure the platforms are industry leading in performance for their class.
FAST stands for Foam Air Stabilized Technologies. Our new foam, air, or foam/air hybrid collar systems are revolutionizing the industry. Mated with our patented collar attachment and installation systems, installation, removal, or repair of the collar will be smooth and easy. FAST has the ability to provide 100% foam, 100% air, or foam/air hybrid systems with any ratio of foam or air depending on your application. Our system also allows you to change the ratio of air to foam in the future by simply changing out the air bladder
The FAST collars brand was established over the past year as a state of the art collar manufacturing facility that can provide products for both LIFE PROOF BOATS and outside customers. FAST also has the ability to build retrofit collar systems for virtually any platform. With our CNC hot wire foam cutting machine, 60FT CNC fabric cutting table, RF bar welder, and hot air welder we can create collars to fit almost any application. We also have a design team that pioneered foam stabilized watercraft over the past 30 years. FAST can build to any application you need us to.

TEAM MEMBERS
Our leadership team has a combined 130+ years of marine experience and have worked hand in hand with customers from the military, commercial sector, first responders, US government, foreign government, and recreational markets. Included in our partnership team are members who have also founded other successful boat manufacturing companies that continue to distribute boats world wide. Our team members can also lay claim to the patented invention of foam stabilized buoyancy collars, the manufacturing of foam stabilized buoyancy collars, and advanced stepped tunnel hull technologies.
